Yes, that’s normal! Our products are made with coconut oil and plant butters, which naturally soften or turn liquid in warm weather, just like coconut oil in your kitchen. Set it somewhere cool (or leave it in the fridge) and it will firm up again. Re-solidifying does not affect quality or performance, and texture may look slightly different after re-setting. Apply as needed to the places that work hard: dry skin, hands, feet, scrapes, cuts, minor skin irritations. Warm a small amount between fingertips, smooth it on, and allow the botanicals absorb slowly, leaving skin feeling nourished, soft, and comforted.

All of our products are oil-based (coconut oil and other plant oils). Oil-based products, including our SEXbalm salve and SEXbalm purifying oil, can weaken latex and polyisoprene condoms, which may make them more likely to break. If you rely on condoms, use polyurethane or nitrile condoms with our products, or skip oil-based products when using latex or polyisoprene. Our products are not contraceptives and do not product against STI’s. If you have questions about contraception or sexual health, please check with your health care provider.

We want you to love what you ordered. You can request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery of unopened or used products. Intimate care products cannot be returned once opened. Customer pays for return shipping and refunds are returned through your original payment method within 15 days of return. If something arrives damaged or isn’t right, email info@rootsyalchemy.com with your order number and a photo and we will make it right. Replacement or for store credit.

Our formulas are botanical and include plant oils (some from nuts, such as almond, argan, and apricot kernel), beeswax, and essential oils, including warming ones like cinnamon and ginger in SEXbalm. Please patch test on a small area of your inner arm and wait 24 hours before regular use, especially before using any product on intimate or delicate skin. If irritation occurs, stop using the product. If you have allergies, sensitivities, or are pregnant, nursing, or under a Doctor’s care, please check with your healthcare provider before use.
